What is Baserow?
Baserow is a no-code database: you create tables, link them together, and work with them through grid and gallery views, forms and kanban boards.
It is built to be self-hosted, with a plugin architecture and an API for every table, and it does not meter your rows.

Getting started with Baserow
- When the build finishes, your server's page in the dashboard shows its HTTPS address, its root password and any sign-in details the installer set for Baserow. The build console streams every step as it happens, so you can see exactly what was installed rather than taking it on trust.
- Sign up for the first account, which becomes the instance admin. Create a database, add a table, and paste a spreadsheet straight into the grid to get moving.
- Add your own domain from the same page when you are ready: point a DNS record at the server and the certificate is issued for you. The original address keeps working, so nothing you configured against it breaks.
- Take a backup once Baserow is configured the way you want it. A backup captures the whole server, so restoring one brings back Baserow and its data together — and it is the only thing that will bring them back.

Is Baserow's self-hosted version limited?
The core is open source (MIT) and unrestricted for self-hosting. Some advanced enterprise features are part of their premium tier.
Can I import my existing spreadsheets?
Yes, Baserow imports CSV, XML and JSON, and can paste directly from a spreadsheet.
How long does it take to install Baserow?
